I heart books
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar ChildrenMiss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I should have known though when the main character and his grandfather ended up having the same love interest that this book wasn't going to be good news. I really don't know how to explain it other than saying it was all anti-climatic. The style it was written in was very young-adultish (which isn't always bad, but I just wasn't expecting it, I guess). Also, the story just seemed lacking in substance. I didn't hate it, so I can't give it just one star, but I also can't recommend this book to anyone either.

Sounds like a very different book, that's for sure...Sorry it didn't turn out to be as good as you were hoping!

I know right? It broke my heart! I have already deleted it off of my Kindle. :*(
